P2P Tech Time

Another Day, Another Problem. Today and really all for the past few months my problem has been who Comcast. As an avid user of torrents ( for legal reasons) I find myself disgusted at the fact that the internet connection and speeds that i am paying for is not always what i get just because of the type of traffic it is. By no means am i a big file sharer so imposing a 250GB a month limit would not hurt me in the least, but its the principle of the entrie thing. If people want to share let them share. These companies make you pay extra for the high speeds but then complain when you actually use what you buy. The FCC just wants them to stop throttling traffic, to me that sound like, “Please leave your customers internet connection alone.”, thats not such a bad thing. But they just dont want to let it go. For some people whom might be thinking this wont affect me, it will. The outcome of this decision will affect anyone who uses the internet because if comcast gets away with it they will try to get away with it to. Im glad the FCC stepped in, this is america we should get what we pay for and if im paying 60 – 80 dollars a month for a certian internet speed i want it all the time not just when a company feels i should have it.
