Moot is a p2p application for mobile phones and laptops. The
application allows users to share content locally, chat and express

a small Norwegian company. The idea of Moot arised out of fascination
for p2p and social networks. The crew felt that what was missing on
the file sharing scene was an application that made people discover
all the content they are surrounded by as they walk around. People are
carrying a lot of cool stuff with them both on laptops and mobile
phones. The idea of the local “browser” arised. It was called Moot to
bring associations to meetings between people.

As today Moot runs on Windows Mobile 6.0 phones with touch pad and
XP/Vista. An iPhone version is on its way. User profile pages on web
are also developed. Here users can keep track on their moot actions,
their respect counts and friends.
