3) P2P allows companies to distribute data so that the load of 5 million people downloading your new software or operating system doesnt kill the server that they are downloading from. This also means less or even no download outages.

4) P2P allows for marketing on a new level. With p2p artist usually complain that people are illegally downloading their music. These people are advertisers for you. They give you free advertising by telling your friends how great your new album or movie is, but if you make crappy music or movies then you get crappy ratings.

So the pressure is on to be the best you can be. Fans like people because of who they are. A good artist writes what and they feel, fans feel their pain and give them money because they understand. All artists want more fans, more fans = more money, more money = better lifestyle.

With p2p your not limited to passing CD’s around trying to get noticed or your not limited to continental distribution. Your distribution is to anyone who has a internet connection. You not only reach people in New York or LA, but also in London and Paris.

7) P2P allows you to connect to people who enjoy the same content you do. P2P apps these days have become more social. This social aspect allows people to chat about 50 Cent, U2, Will Smith, or even Sesame Street. It doesn’t matter what your likes are 9 times out of 10 someone on every p2p network has the same taste, and since everyone is different you might even find something new you like.
