P2P Talk

Today I just want to touch on a few things since i have not really said much lately. Ive noticed that Radiohead is on the side of P2P. Its been long known that record companies only had their best interest at hand and not the artist. How much money has been given to an artist off of the many settlements by the RIAA. Even pennies would be something because it would show that they give the artist the percentage that they are owed. As you have been seeing this is not the case.

Maybe Im just blind and know nothings of the working of the entertainment industry but I and also artist in the industry have common sense to see, that with all of these deals being made that non of the money is coming back to the artist. Some say the RIAA, MPAA, IPFI, PPTLLSKJDLFJDKF, or whatever the letters may be are running away their fans. No one likes a stuck up artist, and thats the feeling people get when they encounter the fake P2P police who try to levy fines for their own amusement. That’s not cool.

In other news which is really not news, but ive always just wanted to say “In Other News”, there are more ways to get music that p2p. So whats going on? P2P in all forms seems to be the target. These days you can pretty much stream whatever you want and in the process not actually be sharing. WOW, what a new concept!? Sarcasm is funny. Sharing of media in any form can only be stopped at the source, if you find a site that provides material you work to take it down, but in the case of P2P its a battle that will never be won for RIAA, ect. You cannot take away something that is not regulated and you cannot regulate something that is free. You can try but you will fail. END SCENE
